Animales.
As much as i feel for starving people in third world countries, and homeless children, and war ... The thing that is nearest to my heart are animals, and i just can't stand hearing about or seeing cruel actions toward them. Lately I have been feeling a strong sense of needing to do some good in the world, so what do you think i have chosen... you got it!
I have applied with animal shelters to help volunteer, and i have been researching ways to help (other than just sending money donations) As of right now the animal cruelty laws in GA aren't too strict, So Darin came up with the idea to write letters to congress about it... I still have a lot more research to do, but I'm thinking he just might be on the right track... I will keep you posted.
PS. I will post this again for any of you who didn't see my earlier blog, STOP BUYING PUPPIES (and kitties) FROM PET STORES!!! the animals you see in pet stores come from puppy mills(most of them). if you don't know what a puppy mill is. look at these websites!

or just go to google images and type in puppy mills.

Hey girly, I loved your post. My dad is a lawmaker here in utah. Best thing to do it find out who your local representative is for your area, research them to see how they feel about animals laws. Its always better to address the concern to someone concerned. As well ypu have a great opp. to get involved, if they run the bill you can even speak out for it in hearing committee meetings... LOVE YOUR HAIR.... Hope for an update
