Twilight = True Love please!

So I must say that one of my guiltiest pleasures are those little gossip magazines that sit so conveniently in the check out line, calling my name ( and Darin could not be more annoyed that I actually spend money on them). But to my surprise I have been pretty good about not buying them lately ( maybe because lately they are always something to do with Micheal Jackson's death) but none the less I haven't been buying them, that was until this week at the grocery store when the first two magazines I saw had huge pictures of Rob Pattinson & Kristen Stewart and a headline along the lines of "Twilight romance" or "Back on Again?" and i couldn't resist.... I am embarrassed to admit that I am like those 12 & 13 year old girls who are obsessed with Twilight and would be extremely thrilled if they were together in real life, sad I know but oh so true!!!

Harry Potter- And the Half Blood Prince
So, Darin and I (but mostly I) had the grand idea to hit the movies last night for the 12:00 showing of Harry Potter & The Half Blood Prince. I must say it was pretty good... It was very long and sometimes hard to keep my eyes open considering it was 3:30 am by the time we got outta there, but It is def. the first Harry Potter movie I've seen that leaves you hanging at the end! All & all it was a pretty enjoyable move, and hey we can say we were there for the premiere!

P.S. Can I just say there are some movies coming out that I am SUPER excited about mainly being:
Where The Wild Things Are
New Moon

Listen up, here's a story
Hello hello you wondrous people out there who read my bloggy, I have some updates, but sadly... I am lame and have no pictures to match (so if you choose to read no further I in no way blame you, I myself am a blogger picture browser and not so much a reader).
So as you may know, I graduated on July 3rd , and that night after I finished school Darin, my brother in-law & I all drove to Sunset Beach NC and spent the weekend with mi madre y padre y ehhh The Marshall family (I only pretend to know some Spanish)! Oh my flippin gosh was it the bomb to finally have a vacation if only i could have one forever. It was so fun spending the fourth at the beach, my family and the Marshalls took the boat down to south port and watched the firework show which were the coolest fireworks my little eyes have ever seen!
I really wish I had pictures, because with out them this next story may not be as funny to you as it is to me, but sorry for you I am going to tell it anyway... So like I said we were at the beach (my dogs came too) and Faye likes to swim, but the sad thing is, she can't swim... so my mom has a doggie life vest, and we took Faye to the ocean one night, and let her play in the water, well needless to say the obsessive little bull s***, I mean dog , that she is she did not want to stop swimming, no matter how tired she is she will not stop, and so the life jacket she had on has a handle on the top of it so you can lift the dog out of the water, well when we would lift Faye out of the water she would keep paddling her little legs in mid air ... I dunno if you guys can picture it, but you can just trust me when I tell you it was pretty stinkin cute.
Then... on Friday, Darin Stephen and I packed up and headed to The NC Mountains where we had a nice little family get together with Darin's family sort of a last hoo rah since we will all be headed our separate ways pretty shortly. We were all so lucky to sleep in a 100 yr old cabin on Friday night and then a rafting trip down the Natahala the next morning... It was fun, although the Natahala's rapids were kinda dinky and anti climactic, I still enjoyed myself. (ok so i lied, here are some pictures from the rafting trip, but to be fair I stole these from my sister-in-law's blog. he he )
