Ribbon tutu for Sue

So, my mom has this kind of creepy little stuffed bunny that my sister and i like to make fun of because she dresses her up according to each holiday/baby showers and wedding showers! Well for this Easter, my mom had the grand idea to make Harriot (that's the bunny & yes, she has a name) a tutu made out of tulle and ribbon, and surprisingly ... It's adorable! So I'm not sure if my sister in-law will put it on her daughter Suzie, but since i adore Suzie I decided to make her one myself! I mean why not I love little tutus for kids, and with a little t-shirt and some leggings it'll be adorable! Yey for crafts! now lets just hope she'll wear it ;)

Of musical interest

Growing up with a dad who loves music for it's lyrics & poetic license and a mom who loves music with an upbeat tempo and couldn't always care less what the lyrics are, you can imagine what a wide variety of music i listen to... The only music I can safely say I haven't been too big a fan of is Scream-o music and MOST country, but I do remember as a kid the only country artist i loved was Deana Carter, and now who woulda guessed that the song i have been SEARCHING for after hearing it at work is a song by one of my favorite duets, Simon and Garfunkel and is covered by yours truly Deana Carter! It is beautiful. I absolutely adore this remake and encourage you to have a listen.

So, today at school i decided to play with some ink works, and now my parents say I look like A Phoenix (that bird in Harry Potter). But it is fun, and it makes me feel summery!

Hello snow!

Well it looks like Snow miser has paid a little visit to south town this year! Although our (I'm sure to be short lived) snow fall will probably be gone by tonight or early tomorrow, it was nice to have a little taste. I absolutely love wintry weather!
