A Southern Tea Party of a Reception

So, I was gunna put off writing about mine and Darin's reception until I have some pictures, but I really don't know how long that will take, so I'm caving... I'm going to write about the reception!

Our reception took place May 9th in Acworth Georgia at a little southern plantation. I had quite the obnoxious display of brides maids... ten to be exact, but it was well worth it, they all looked so dang cute in their dresses if i do say so myself, and Darin's FOUR grooms men looked quite handsome as well. Our color schemes were yellow and light light blue (almost white even) but our flowers were a freakin gorgeous display of spring colors, my sister and her good friend Christina did the flower arrangements, and I honestly don't think anyone has had prettier flowers, Christina is absolutely GIFTED at making beautiful flower arrangements. the theme was kind of a tea party with spring flowers and Birds... you gotta have the birds! Charo (the same girl who did our engagement pictures) came down for the big day and took our reception photos as well, she is INSANELY amazing, her photos are unreal, and we just love her!
But besides all the aesthetic beauty, the company was even better. It was so much fun dancin on the dance floor with all my bridesmaids (literally because they were the only few who would dance! haha ) and socializing with friends and family (some of which we hadn't seen in a while) who had all come to show love and support for Darin and I. We had such a great time at our little Anthropologie Esq reception. It was the cutest little southern reception ever, and I'm stickin to it!

I'll have pictures up as soon as i get some!

Things are lookin' up.

I've been pretty stressed lately with all the things i need to get done and all the decisions Darin and I have had to make, but things are starting to fall into place. Darin found an awesome job with a really cool boss that he really gets along well with, We both start school comin' up here pretty soon, and I have hopefully maybe found a job at Anthropologie. Our cute little basement apartment is comin' together quite nicely and we have the opportunity to go to South Carolina this weekend to visit Darin's uncle and aunt for a quick vacation before school and work start kicking us in the butt full force!
We are so incredibly blessed to have such wonderful friends and family who have helped and supported us. I have NO idea where we would be without my parents generosity, and we are so grateful for Jane Kassow and how diligently she kept putting good words in for Darin to his (now) boss. Without her Darin wouldn't have ever found this Job. So all in all things are really going well.. all i need to do now is find a way to balance Work, School & THE GYM!

My littlest fan

So yeah this post is kind of lame, but i can't tell you how much i adore my dog. I got her almost 2 years ago and have raised her since she was a little tyche (or pup) . She is probably my biggest little fan or maybe I'm hers ... who knows.
She follows me everywhere i go, and i can't say i don't like her hangin around, she literally brightens my day and I'm so happy for her to be a part of mine and Darin's little family.

i Start on tuesday May 27th, thank you!

YEA... I am sooo excited, I start school at the Paul Mitchell school in Atlanta on May 27th!! I was super lucky to be able to make it into that class. I called about a week ago to do a walk through just to see the school, and they told me the soonest dates to start, and that was the soonest. Lucky for me, they let me do everything so close to time. I can't wait to go to school .. whoa, i never thought I'd hear those words come out of my mouth, but it's true... I can't wait.

I also got my hair cut yesterday. It's quite nice... a short little summer bob & some blunt bangs to match. fun fun.

i would like a job please.

i have been searching desperately for a job lately and i have found no such luck. i really was desiring a job at a veterinary office, but... None are hiring, so I Sydney Susannah Bradford George, have decided to go back to land that loves me and work retail. So, I am heading to the malls surrounding the area tom. and plan to apply at Anthro, Urban, J. crew & the GAP for starters.. I really don't wanna commute all the way to lenox or perimeter, but i will do what i must, and hopefully ill have some good chances at getting a job at anthro or urbs since i have worked at both for quite some time. oh the joys of retail... folding clothes, ringing customers, re stocking the floor ... I can't wait.
